Checklist: What To Look For On Your Zeekr Delivery Day

If you’re as excited as I am waiting for the Zeekr delivery day, you may be all over the Facebook and Reddit media seeing how people are going with their Zeekr vehicles. You’ll have noticed that not all posts are good news, some have less-than-ideal stories.

In order to ensure I can avoid some of these not so great stories I have written an extensive checklist to run-through at the dealership before accepting my vehicle.

Vehicle Checklist

Supplied Parts

This is a list of parts that should be supplied with the vehicle.

  • Type 2 Charging Cable (22kW)
  • Granny Charger (regular powerpoint charger)
  • Floor Mats
  • Retractable Boot Cover (aka Rear Parcel Shelf Blind)
  • Sentry Mode USB
  • Tyre Inflation Kit
  • Both keys (1 Fob & 1 NFC Keycard)

Exterior Checks

Interior Checks

  • Check that the retractable boot cover is installed, these are supposed to be included (At least in Performance model, unsure of others)
  • Is the Interior clean? (Check Seats, Trim and Carpet)
  • Check for scratches in the interior, especially the Piano Black surfaces!!
  • Floor mats provided
  • Check the rear centre seat hinge on the pull-down armrest
  • Check for rattles and loose fixtures when opening glove box, centre console etc
    • There should be creaking or unsmooth doors (especially in centre console)
  • Check for any errors or wanrings showing on the dash/center screen
  • Test both AC and Heater, ensure they are BOTH working and AC cools down in an acceptable timeframe
  • Check all windows roll up and down without unexpected noises
  • Check the panoramic glass sunrook cover is working and sliding as expected

Technological Checks

  • Vehicle should be sufficiently charged
  • Check that all cameras and sensors are working
  • Check all buttons/switches are functioning as expected
  • Ensure your Zeekr Account has been setup with the car
    • Chasing this up after can be extremely time-consuming if it’s not done correctly by the dealership, so it’s much easier to just make sure it’s done before delivery.
  • Have the dealership show you how to create a Digital Key on your phone, so they can fix it if there are issues.
  • Check both keys are working correctly
  • Check that the HUD (Heads Up Display) is functioning correctly

I will be continuing to update this post before and after I take delivery of my Zeekr 7X so you can also be fully prepared for the exciting day!

I’m a South Australian tech-obsessed tinkerer who lives for the sweet spot where performance meets innovation. If it can be optimised, automated, or pushed to its limit, I’m probably already working on it, whether that’s tweaking my PC for peak gaming, re-architecting my smart home networks, or diving deep into the next generation of electric vehicle tech.

My world is a constant project, shifting from complex home lighting systems to whatever else needs a custom touch. But when I’m not lost in the code or the hardware, you’ll find me off the grid, hanging out with my Maremma Sheepdog, Walter.
